Fun Fact
So I'm at Burger King, and all of the menu boards have breakfast items on them (as you would expect at 9:30 in the morning). So I order breakfast and then find out you can order any menu item you want! Love it.

Definitely one of the highlights of this travel experience was the opportunity to have a tour of CNET at CBS Interactive with none other than CNET's senior editor and host, Brian Tong.  Brian was very gracious to give us some of his time to teach the students about how broadcast journalism happens on the internet.  Check out the pictures and video on the Tour of CNET page. Thanks Brian for an experience that we'll never forget!

After the tour, we walked to China Town for dinner at Kan's. The fortune cookies had us in tears of laughter! We thought Miss Brown might not make it (from not being able to breath from laughing) but she pulled through OK!

We had lunch at Mel's Drive-In diner which was a very short walk from our hotel. There used to be a number of Mel's Diner locations, one of which was used in the George Lucas film American Graffiti.  

The Mel's used in the movie no longer exists, but this Mel's pays tribute to the movie with it's many large photographs decorating the walls throughout the restaurant.  

After our meal, we walked around the area and visited Union Square Park.

On the ground in Charlotte. Those that know me well know that my stomach doesn't do well on very little sleep. Not feeling the best at the moment.

I haven't started packing yet, but I've got my list ready to go.
